— ABOUT BOARDVISORY
A trusted boardroom partner –
cultivating the mindsets that unlock exceptional boards.
— Our Mission
To be a trusted boardroom partner – providing boards and directors with the tools to unlock exceptional performance.
Boardvisory was founded in 2019 by Joy-Marie Lawrence, who observed disruptive behaviours often driven by the ego of directors in the boardroom. Recognising that these behaviours negatively impacted effective decision-making, she embarked on a journey to discover more efficient ways for boards to engage.
Fuelled by curiosity to explore solutions beyond the conventional, the business was established with the aim of fostering a boardroom environment that prioritised collaboration and strategic decision-making over individual egos.
Boardvisory is an IODSA Approved CPD Certificate Provider.

We bring honest observation and challenge — the kind boardrooms need most.
03
Integrity
We hold a confidential, principled space for directors to learn and reflect.
04
Kindness
We believe high performance grows from psychological safety, not pressure.
