Director-Shift™ Boardroom Competencies: Stakeholder Focus supports directors in developing the ability to hold the interests of both current and future stakeholders in mind when participating in boardroom discussions and decision-making. It encourages directors to move beyond narrow interests, short-term preferences and immediate pressures towards long-term stewardship of the organisation.

Through practical reflection, directors are encouraged to consider whose interests are shaping a decision, whose interests may be missing, and how their own contribution can support more ethical and effective decision-making.

As part of the Director-Shift™ Boardroom Competencies Series, the course focuses not simply on technical governance knowledge, but on how directors show up, engage and make decisions in the boardroom.
