— Board Simulations
An immersive opportunity for integration.
A board simulation integrates a director’s awareness of self with their ability to engage in ethical and effective decision-making.

— What you’ll experience
Real boardroom dynamics — in a safe space.
Boardvisory’s simulations are immersive experiences where board members interact with one another, guided by a seasoned chair and supported by experienced board coaches and mentors. It is a safe and supportive environment with practical insight into real-life boardroom scenarios — how decisions are made, how conflict is resolved, and how strategy is formulated.
Immersive Experience in a Boardroom
Board Simulations encourage active learning by allowing participants to engage in the practical implementation of the corporate governance principles required for ethical and effective decision-making. The setting requires that participants apply their theoretical knowledge of corporate governance in a real-life scenario that tests their commitment to, and understanding of, their fiduciary responsibilities.
Realistic Board Agenda and Board Pack
Board Simulations replicate real-life Board situations, providing participants with a realistic Board Agenda and Board pack to apply and test their skills.
Facilitated by Experienced CEO and Board Chair
The Board Simulation is facilitated by an experienced Board Chair and an experienced CEO which provides an immersive, realistic, and engaging experience of a Board meeting and its power dynamics.
Safe Learning Environment to Observe Behavioural Dynamics
The Board Simulations provide a safe space for participants to observe the behavioural dynamics of other participants in the Boardroom, and to be curious about their own responses in the Boardroom. This unique setting promotes an environment for experimentation and exploration.
Board Meeting Feedback to Facilitate Effective Engagement
The Board Simulation includes immediate feedback and participation by either a Board Mentor or a Board Coach, allowing participants to understand the consequences of their decisions in the Boardroom. The Board Mentors are experienced Directors with business experience and the Board Coaches are experienced Directors with a professional coaching qualification. This facilitates a continuous learning process and enables participants to deepen their awareness of self, their Board competencies, and skills.
Practising Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Competencies
Board Simulations often involve complex scenarios that require the application of critical thinking and problem-solving skills and leadership competencies. Participants must navigate challenges, make decisions, and understand the interconnectedness of various factors while managing the consequences of their decisions.
Tailored Board Simulations Depending on Level of Skill
Boardvisory Board Simulations can be tailored to various learning styles and levels of expertise to accommodate participants at different skill levels and provide a customised learning experience.
